Letter to GLA about Freedom Pass Fiasco

I am writing call for steps to be taken so that Transport for London's appalling delays in sending out Freedom Passes to local pensioners are not repeated. Transport for London should set examples in timeliness which are beyond criticism. How can they expect higher standards from transport operators when they are so slow themselves?
The Mayor is supposed to be in charge of Transport for London's activities, but exercises little real control over them. If elected, I will work with other Liberal Democrat GLA members to call him and them to account."
