Doocey appointed Chair of London Assembly Economic Development and Planning Committee

Liberal Democrat London Assembly Member, Dee Doocey, has today been appointed as the Chair of the Economic Development & Planning Committee which will develop and analyse policies on housing, economic development, culture, sport and tourism for London.

Dee Doocey said:-

"I am thrilled to be given this opportunity to help develop new and exciting ways of helping to revitalise, rejuvenate and reinvigorate this great capital city. I want to make sure that this committee looks at improving the quality of life for the whole of London and make sure that it places an equal focus on outer London issues as much as inner London.

"This committee will provide people in the South West of London with an excellent chance to put many of the Mayors' policies under the microscope and examine what benefit or problems his plans pose for our Boroughs."
